Yorkshire & Humberside Reducing Re-offending Action Plan 2005-2007
This Action Plan sets out how NOMS will work in partnership with statutory, voluntary and private sector partners to reduce re-offending in the Yorkshire and Humberside region.
It describes the context of criminal justice work in the region and provides a framework of nine Pathways focused on the following workstreams:
- Accommodation
- Education, Training and Employment
- Mental and Physical Health
- Drugs and Alcohol
- Finance, Benefit and Debt
- Children and Families of Offenders
- Attitudes, Thinking and Behaviour
- Prolific and Other Priority Offenders
- Voluntary and Community Sector Engagement
Each section identifies overarching aims, an introduction to the relevant issues and an action plan detailing lead organisational responsibilities, a timeframe for delivery, and identified risks.
There is also a summary of relevant targets and evidence of need at the end of the plan, along with a glossary of terms.
